I'll stop by later to respond in detail, but all I can say is that you look nice. ^__~
Though you do look a bit on the demure side, at least in this picture. Granted you're quite the peacemaker, nevertheless I always kinda pictured you as a bit... energetic. Or "genki" if you will. ^___________^'
You'll have to eventually explain why you chose the deliberate name conflict, especially in light of the name of your ancestral self. ^______^
For now, though, I'll call you Katt-chama or Kattlanna Proper-chama, and the cat-eared Kattlanna "Katt-chama II". Which is kinda weird, cause to me she's ALWAYS been Kattlanna. And plus I'm bound to forget this.... right, Proper-chama?
You forgot to add "pigs" to the list of likes, that's kinda mandatory. ^^
*puppy eyes*
Definitely agree with telemarketers and that darn artist block. >v<
I also don't like it when a drawing takes TOO long to do, even if I'm not technically uninspired. >.<
Funny how I always wanted to get into music, but it never quite stuck to me as much as drawing or writing or computer work did. I always took it as a sign that it was never meant for me,... but once I'm able to get original music playing in my would-be games, perhaps I would revisit that. ^^
In any event, hope we see MORE pictures of you, Kattlanna Proper! ^v^
In fact, now would be a great time for a new avatar, no? ^.^
Of course I like pigs too! They're very smart, resourceful and the piglets are soooo cute!
I don't like when any of my drawings take too long either. Sure, I go for quality here but I also have my own time limits and sometimes willing to submit something as 'good enough'.
It would be great if you could try your hoof at music again for your upcoming games!
I still need to update my avatar and not just because my current one is of an obsolete design!
And it's amazing how many of our likes and dislikes are similar, right down to loving Victorian and retro fashion (well, with the notable exception of the snow one-- I'll take snow whenever it wants to come xD).
Ironically, I used to write a lot of short stories and make up plays with my friends; but I lost my inspiration and am just now getting back into writing. Conversely, I never was musical but am trying to learn the keyboard and harmonica now... if I may ask, what instruments did you play?
And that quote from Plan 9 From Outer Space is made of PURE WIN.

I like snow in the winter but not spring. Sure, the weather is unstable where I live in the spring time (it was actually not too bad so far this year, there have only been a couple thunderstorms) but I can tolerate the cold for only so long.
I wrote a lot of short stories throughout grade school but they sucked. Seriously- I still have my writing+stories notebook from sixth grade and reading through it felt very awkward. I'm trying to make Insanity Force be the most awesome story I have ever written! Considering my past stories though, that might not be very hard.
Back when I played music, I mainly played the piano. I learned it very quickly and I was pretty good at it. I also tried playing the flute but failed miserably and gave up. I just don't have the right lip design to play the flute.
Incidentally, I wrote a short musical play about two musician guys (one plays the guitar, the other plays the accordion and bagpipes) who form a rock band and an unlikely alliance!
Looking forward to the new avi -- true, that yours has been around since your last DA incarnation. [I still have your two old profiles linked] ^.^
Awhile back I began reading some of my old stories as well-- I can't believe I could have written some of that drivel. Dx
I don't know what your old writings were like, but Insanity Force is shaping up to be awesome. It's fast-paced, full of interesting and quirky characters, and is witty and sharp!
I've always wanted to learn how to play the piano, but since we don't currently have the room for one it's the keyboard for me. xD I've also played the flute and harmonica. I'd like to learn the guitar someday, though.
And that sounds like quite a musical odd-couple.
